Microcement colours: Choose yours from our wide range of colours.
At CEMENTEC, we have always been fans of the saying: ‘To each their own’. And although the default colour of microcement is grey (due to its cementitious nature), you can now find a wide range of shades, thanks to the addition of pigments in the microcement colour mixture. This gives this decorative coating the desired colour and qualities.

We simply like to offer you a wide range of colours to choose from, so you can select the coloured microcement that best suits your project or that you like the most. What is a ready-to-use decorative coating and what is meant by coloured microcement?
Ready-to-use microcement is a decorative coating that is growing in popularity due to the number of advantages it offers. We can even say that, today, it has become one of the biggest trends in interior design par excellence. Its versatility and adaptability make it the material that provides quality finishes ideal for any type of decorative style. One of its main advantages is that it does not require any construction work involving debris during application. This means that any damage or disruption related to renovations will be minimal or even non-existent. It is really easy to install, directly onto the surface itself. There is no need to lift floors, walls or countertops. A thin layer of 2 or 3 millimetres is applied to the previously prepared surface to be coated.
But isn’t cement grey by nature? Can it be painted? Yes, the answer to both questions is the same. As we mentioned earlier, microcement is grey. However, if we add different pigments to it, it creates a mixture that turns a different colour. Depending on the pigments you use, you will obtain one colour or another. This is how coloured microcement is created, achieving the shades you want without having to use other products or finishing materials.
What colours of microcement are available?
Any. The colour range offered by CEMENTEC covers every single colour between the primary colours or between black and white. In other words, the pigmentation system used in our company allows you to select any pre-established colour, as well as design any custom colour for orders of 200 m2 or more. Take a look at the colour catalogue and choose the one that best suits the room or décor you have in mind.
Despite this, we strongly recommend choosing microcement colours based on the surface or conditions of the room in which it will be used. For example, if the room receives plenty of natural light, we recommend using dark tones. However, if natural light enters intermittently, we recommend using more subtle and less saturated colours. If the room requires artificial light, it will depend on the type of bulb you choose. Cool lights reduce the intensity of colours, while warm lights accentuate them. The size of the room is another aspect to consider. The trick is to know how to play with colours. Dark colours create the effect of reducing the space or making it smaller. On the other hand, neutral or light colours enhance the visual spaciousness of the room.
It boasts the most elegant finish possible, with a seamless appearance and no joints, together with CEMENTEC’s ready-to-use microcement.
Can I use coloured microcement with other materials to create different styles?
Of course, and in fact, we recommend it. Ready-to-use coloured microcement is so versatile that incredible finishes can be achieved by combining different colours. On the one hand, we can combine different colours of microcement. Just imagine, it is possible to decorate the floor and walls of your room with different colours and finishes of this coating. We can even create contrast between the countertops or walls themselves. This way, your room will be able to reflect confidence, elegance and distinction. Similarly, if your room has columns, why not take advantage of them to create contrast? Just remember not to use more than three colours if you want to achieve this illustrious touch.
On the other hand, don’t hesitate to combine other types of materials with coloured microcement. If you want to create a modern style, use microcement combined with metal pieces. Wood and a natural atmosphere, combined with this decorative coating, can create a rustic and calm space. If, on the other hand, you combine microcement with ceramic or porcelain, you will declare yourself a lover or prisoner of the classic style. All this seems to indicate that any type of decoration or combination you can think of is possible.
