What is ready-to-use microcement?
Ready-to-use microcement is a microcement that arrives on site already mixed, weighed and pigmented at the factory, ready to apply as soon as you open the container. Unlike two-component or one-component microcement, there is no powder, resin or pigment to mix on site.
The result is the same seamless 2 to 3 mm coating for floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor areas, but with fewer steps and less room for error. To learn about all the types and uses, read our microcement guide.

Why choose ready-to-use microcement
Traditional microcement has to be prepared on site, and that is where most mistakes happen. Ready-to-use microcement moves that work to the factory.
Traditional microcement
- Preparation Weigh and mix powder, resin and pigment
- Colour Depends on the dosing of each batch
- Cleanliness Airborne dust when mixing
- Leftovers Once mixed, it has a limited working life and anything left over is wasted
- Repairs Hard to match the shade
- Training Requires experience or an in-person course
Cementec ready-to-use microcement
- Preparation Open the container
- Colour The same in every container
- Cleanliness No dust
- Leftovers Tightly closed, the container keeps for touch-ups
- Repairs Local touch-ups in the same colour
- Training Video tutorials
Advantages for applicators
- Less time per job: no mixing stage.
- Guaranteed precision: no weighing or pigment errors.
- Cleaner work: ideal for renovations in occupied homes.
- Easy stock: 5 and 12 kg kits that do not need much storage space.
- Water-repellent: suitable for bathrooms and kitchens.
- Colours made to order: on projects over 250 m².
How to apply ready-to-use microcement
- Prepare the substrate: clean, dry and sound, with the joints treated.
- Apply the primer and, if needed, the fibreglass mesh.
- Open the container and apply the base and finishing coats with a trowel.
- Seal with the protective varnish (Finish Forte Plus in wet areas).
You do not need in-person training: every product comes with video tutorials and technical support during the job.
Ready-to-use microcement colours
Because the pigment is added at the factory, the colour is exactly the same in every container, with no difference in shade between batches. Choose from neutral tones such as Arctic Grey, Pearl Grey or Sand · warm colours such as Toffee or Camel · the Vintage range · metallic finishes. On projects over 250 m², we make your colour to order.

Frequently asked questions about ready-to-use microcement
How is it different from two-component microcement?
In the preparation. Two-component microcement is mixed on site (powder, resin and pigment), whereas ready-to-use microcement arrives mixed and pigmented at the factory. The result is the same seamless coating, with fewer steps and more consistent colour. We compare the three types in our microcement guide.
Where can ready-to-use microcement be applied?
In almost any room, indoors and outdoors: bathrooms, kitchens, floors, walls, stairs, terraces, façades and swimming pools. Also on furniture, over MDF or plasterboard.
Is it as strong as traditional microcement?
Yes. What changes is how it is supplied, not how it performs: it is applied at the same 2 to 3 mm thickness and protected with the same sealer. For demanding uses, such as shop floors or busy stairs, there is the Cementec High Transit system.
Can it be used in showers and wet areas?
Yes, with the right system and sealer. In areas in contact with water, Cementec Medium (Water Resistant) is used instead of the fine finish, protected with Finish Forte Plus varnish. We explain it in microcement in bathrooms and in microcement swimming pools.
Can it be applied over tiles?
Can I apply it with no experience?
It is the easiest microcement to apply, because it removes mixing and dosing on site. You do not need in-person training: you have video tutorials and technical support during the job. Start with our courses for walls and floors.
How much material do I need?
As a guide, the standard system takes two coats of Base and two of Fino, which is about 3 kg of microcement per m². The total depends on the surface and the system: work it out exactly with the microcement price calculator.
How long does an opened container last?
Closed and stored in its original container, in a dry place protected from the weather, ready-to-use microcement keeps its properties for months. Once opened, close the container tightly after each use and avoid adding water to the leftover product.
Where can I buy ready-to-use microcement?
You can buy it in our online shop, with home delivery, or through our distributor network. If you have any questions about your order or your area, write to us. And if you are a professional, check the conditions for applicators and distributors.
